I'm still not finished writing about death and dying, I suppose.
It's been a long time coming, but I have an essay titled "Assisted Suicide and the Cure of Souls" in this month's edition of Commonweal. I'm really grateful that they published it and it is now out in the world. Even though I've recently moved to the US, I am still concerned about what is happening in Canada and think it is generally not good. But this is where we are, and Christians - especially pastors - need to figure out how to respond. I've offered my contribution here.
